As beer is a 100% natural product, it is always changing with the seasons. As brewers have already been doing so for centuries, we also tailor our brewing schedules and recipes to the fruits and spices available at that time. Furthermore, seasonal beers are made to be drunk in a specific season. Autumn and winter beers are usually heavy, dark and warming, whereas spring and summer beers are especially fresh and thirst-quenching. But please don’t worry too much about this. If you’d like to open a session pale ale on a frosty winter’s day or enjoy a bock beer during a heat wave, then don’t let us stop you!

At Uiltje we brew various seasonal beers. Perhaps the best known is F*ck The Christmas Tree Is On Fire!, a warm, hearty orange & coffee oatmeal stout for that cozy time of the year. The warm-weather equivalent of this beer, F*ck the Caravan Is On Fire!, is a hoppy and drinkable wheat beer. We also have seasonal beers with special additions such as pineapple, blueberries, wild peach, hazelnut and chili pepper. Once, we even dissected an apple strudel to transfer its fantastic flavours to our apple strudel Doublebock! It may sound like a cliché, but you just have to taste these beers!
