Different kinds of beer glasses

The importance of the right beer glass should not be underestimated (nor overestimated by the way, but more on that later). According to experts, certain beers taste best from a specific type of beer glass. A wheat beer glass usually narrows slightly at the top to keep the firm foam layer in shape. A bock beer glass often spills out at the top to let the malty aromas run free, whilst an IPA beer glass is a bit slimmer to preserve the hoppy flavours. Having said this, none of this is set in stone. Which beer glass goes with which beer style, for instance, also differs per country.

Although we recognise the importance of the right beer glass, we prefer not to be too picky. Instead of a special beer glass for each beer type, we have one beer glass to enjoy almost all of our beers. The Vienna tasting glass is an all-round beer glass that, thanks to its shape, is very suitable for hoppy beers, but also allows the flavours of dark beer to come into their own. We also have a robust Brewhouse glass of 0,5l. Ideal for the hardcore drinking sessions with your mates!
