Fresh and Fast, the name says it all! We deliver our beers to your home as fresh as possible!

Hop-forward beer styles such as IPA, New England-style IPA, Pale Ale, Double and Triple IPA should be drunk fresh … As soon as possible after packaging.

An IPA is like a fresh croissant … You wouldn’t step into the bakery on a Monday morning to buy a croissant for next Friday, would you!?

This is why we introduced Fresh & Fast. Only hop-forward beers delivered to your door within 72 hours of packaging. This way you can enjoy your IPA almost as fresh as our brewers do, straight from the tank.

Some beers need some time before they are at their best. Stronger beers such as; Barleywine, Tripel and other strong, dark beers. However, hop-forward beers are best when drunk as FRESH as possible. Yes, hops are a natural preservative, which means it takes longer for the beer to spoil. This is true, but it doesn’t improve the flavors of the beers if you leave them in the cupboard for a while. General rule of thumb;

We know that an IPA beer is best drunk as fresh as possible, but do you? Most beer is kept too long and too hot in warehouses, which is bad for the quality of the beer. Also when the temperature goes from cold to hot to cold is not exactly flavor enhancing. With Fresh and Fast, we can show you what it’s like to drink a very, very fresh IPA from your own fridge at home. Every month we release a new hop-forward beer that you can order with our Fresh and Fast service. We’ll get those beers to you as quickly as possible, so all you have to do is; put them in the fridge, wait for those bad boys to get cold, and pull them open! Never before have you been able to drink freshly brewed beer straight from the lagering tank!

The beer we will be sending through our Fresh & Fast program will only be packaged in cans. We prefer cans over bottles, and we hope that after reading this, you do too! First of all, canned beer is better for the beer’s flavor and aroma. Time is not the only influential factor on a hop-forward beer’s flavor. There are countless factors that influence a beer’s flavor. Chief among them being time (which is a problem solved by our Fresh & Fast service). Yet another factor, which is unfortunately highly underestimated, is light. Beer that is exposed to too much light will taste considerably less fresh rather than canned beer. Light can cause beer to turn a little skunky or to spoil earlier than beer that is not exposed to light. This is exactly the reason why most bottles are made by tinted glass so light is less likely to get into contact with the beer. This does unfortunately not block all the light, and therefore cans are better to keep your beers fresh.

The aluminum packaging prevents sunlight from getting to the beer and allows it to retain its hoppy flavor even better than in a bottle. Canned beer has a certain status as a cheaper, more drinkable beer. But now you know that that image is not true at all and canned beers are actually better!

Okay, and how does it work?

Every month we ship a Fresh and Fast delivery in boxes of 12x440ml cans. We only start brewing when 75% of the beer is pre-sold. This way we ensure that the beer goes out the door the day of packaging and is not stored unnecessarily in our cold room at the brewery. Tuesdays are packaging days; that’s when the beer is canned and shipped as soon as possible after this, to be delivered to your home within 72 hours of packaging. Definitely before the weekend starts!

Automatic payment and delivery

Sign up and you will receive a fresh box of beer every month at home with 12 cans of 44cl. If you take out a subscription, it will run until the moment you stop it. After this you can also resume it. In principle, the subscription and thus the payment continues automatically, but you are fully in control. Also about the delivery address. You can also change this in your personal account > my subscriptions. Here you can also stop and/or resume your subscription. The amount is automatically collected every month. When this fails, the subscription will be paused.
